This unique face to face course provides the highest level of Teacher Training and sits at the forefront of Dance Education in Australia. Comprehensively designed by Karen Malek, this course is designed to provide students with a Certificate IV or Diploma of Dance Teaching and Management. 

Students can focus on their preferred genre when training to be a teacher.  They will develop their skills and knowledge in order to have a sustainable career as a dance teacher or as an administrator or dance fitness instructor as a few examples.

Course studies include, but are not limited too:

Monitoring and managing small business operations, provide first aid, plan and organise dance classes, apply safe dance teaching methods, contribute to the organisation of productions, plan assessment activities and processes, assess competence, design and develop learning programs, apply legal and ethical instructional skills, work effectively with people with a disability, create short dance pieces, explore the relationship between music and dance, operate application software packages, teach basic dance technique in a genre of your choice.
