Amber McCartney

Amber is a Melbourne-based dancer who graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2012. She has worked for Chunky Move, ‘Accumulation’ (Prue Lang) & ‘It sounds Silly’ (Adam Wheeler), Antony Hamilton Projects, ‘Number of the Machine’, DanceNorth, ‘OneInfinity’ (Gideon Obarzanek & Amber Haines), Prue Lang, ‘Project F’, ‘Yoni’ & ‘Stellar Project’, Niharika Senapati, ‘Imagination /Vacation’ and James Batchelor, ‘Red Shift’, and ‘Island’ with international tours of ‘Deepspace’ & ‘Metasystems’. Last year she premiered her work ‘II’ for Transit Dance, she has also created on YellowWheel and performed and choreographed ‘The Air Reef’ for Lucy Guerin’s ‘Pieces For Small Spaces’.
