We are so excited to introduce our new PART TIME Foundation Pathway. This unique pathway has been created for students wanting to prepare for full time study, or budding young dancers/teachers wanting to increase their dance ability in a part time setting.
The pathway takes place four evenings a week (Monday - Thursday) and is designed to prepare students for entry to one of our Full time courses.
The final round of auditions for Transit PA's 2018 Pre Professional Performing Arts (Jazz) course have been announced.Applicants will audition for a panel of dance industry leaders on Saturday 18th November to secure a place in the 2018 Pre Professional Performing Arts (Jazz) course.
This Pre-Professional Performing Arts Dance Course is a uniquely designed Jazz based course aimed at preparing you for a professional career as a dancer in many areas of the Performing Arts including Musical Theatre, Cruise Ships, Theme Parks and Cabaret, just to name a few.

DANCE ARCHITECT™ is an exciting new choreographic platform for emerging contemporary dance choreographers and creators, aged 15 - 25 years old. With a focus on uniqueness, creativity and bravery, it is designed to give opportunities to passionate young dance artists who want to share their individuality through contemporary movement. The pinnacle of the DANCE ARCHITECT™ program gives two successful choreographers the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals to develop and stage their own fully funded theatrical season in 2018.
As our fourth year of operation for approaches, we felt it was time for us to revise and reinvigorate our Origins programs with some exciting new changes to our course structure and even our fees.
But one of the biggest developments is that as of 2018 Jayden Hicks will be joining Transit Dance in a full time capacity as the Director of Origins Extension Program and Artistic Director of Origins Dance Company.
Transit Dance puts its students to the test by giving them difficult concepts to devise and perform. The inaugural Performing Arts students host an 80s flashback medley, while the first year Certificate IV and Diploma Contemporary dance students perform multimedia works choreographed by the second year students.

Two lucky male dancers will be awarded the fellowship honour every year, which will help them financially achieve their professional development in dance through Transit Dance. The Transit Fellowship is valued at a total of almost $75,000 and is aimed at male dancers aged 17 and over who would like elite dance training.
