DOUBLE FEATURE by Transit Elevate & Extensions

Showcasing the Transit Youth cohorts of Elevate and Extensions, this incredible event features two full length professional level dance works and is a celebration of the wonderful year of training and the momentous achievements of the 2023 Youth cohorts.

Prepare to be enchanted by THE LAKE (30mins) by Elevate Contemporary and Extensions. This contemporary work choreographed by LACHLAN HALL and KAITLIN MALONE, brings a fresh re-imagining to the timeless classical ballet Swan Lake. Exploring the thrilling connection between athleticism, sport culture, art and dance, this mesmerizing performance is set to a pulsating soundtrack that will have you on the edge of your seat. This work will also feature a short prelude piece choreographed by HOLLY PEARCE and performed by the Extension students.

Take a nostalgic trip back to the vibrant 1980s with KIDS IN AMERICA (30mins) by Elevate Performing Arts. Choreographed by the dynamic team of CHRISTINA D’AGOSTINO, JORDAN POLLARD, DONNIE DIMASE, PAUL MALEK, JILLIAN GREEN, TIJANA NOVAKOVIC and KIM ADAM, this energetic work transports you to a suburban 80's inspired shopping mall for a lively celebration of dance, accompanied by a lineup of unforgettable hits that will have you dancing in your seat.
