Riverlinks and Transit Dance are offering a four day creative workshop in the April school holidays giving dance students the opportunity to work with leading Australian choreographers, Paul Malek and Jayden Hicks, to create an original 20 minute dance focussed around their stories. At the end of the four days, this dance piece will be performed alongside another work titled Danza by Transit Dance Company, at a performance for students’ families, friends and the community.This unique and rewarding experience provides participants with insight into the contemporary dance creative process in a fun and inclusive environment, whilst fostering creative expression and a sense of belonging. The workshop is designed for students with previous dance experience who have a creative streak or an interest in furthering their creative ability. 

Suitable for: Students with previous dance experience, aged 12 to 25.

Workshop and performance venue: Riverlinks Westside, Echuca Road, Mooroopna, Victoria 3629.

Workshops: Monday 6 April to Thursday 9 April, 9.00am to 3.30pm.

Performance: Thursday 9 April, 7.30pm to approx. 8.30pm.
