At Transit Dance, we are dedicated to delivering world-class dance education, providing a high-quality, career-focused training experience that prepares students for success in the professional dance industry.
Founded in 2015 by Chris Curran, Paul Malek, and Karen Malek, Transit Dance was built on the vision of creating a practical, holistic, and nurturing training environment that empowers dancers to reach their full potential. What began as a Contemporary-focused institution has since expanded to include Performing Arts and a range of Youth Programs, now training over 200 full-time students each year.
Our Core Team
At the heart of Transit is a team of highly respected, industry-leading educators, including 10 full-time faculty members who are sought after both in Australia and internationally. With extensive professional experience and a commitment to student success, our team ensures that every dancer receives the highest standard of training, mentorship, and industry insight.
