This two-year, full-time program blends technical mastery, performance artistry, and industry immersion, preparing graduates for careers in commercial productions, cruise lines, and live entertainment industries.

  • This program develops highly skilled, versatile, and industry-ready dancers through a curriculum balancing technical excellence, creative exploration, and professional preparation.

    • Jazz & Commercial Technique – High-energy, dynamic movement styles with a focus on precision, strength, and performance flair.

    • Theatrical Performance & Movement – Developing dance, acting, and expressive skills for stage and screen, with a focus on storytelling through movement.

    • Classical Ballet Foundations – Strengthening technique and control to enhance movement versatility.

    • Performance & Production – Participation in four fully staged productions per year, simulating real-world performance environments.

    • Industry & Career Preparation – Audition training, networking opportunities, and direct exposure to industry professionals.

  • Entry to this course is by Application, Audition and Interview. Auditions take place every two months and consist of technique, choreography and interview components, conducted by Transit Dance directors and core faculty. Video Auditions and Trial Classes are also available on a case by case basis.

Performance & Industry Intergration.

At Transit Dance, students don’t just train—they perform, refine their craft, and gain direct industry experience. The Pre-Professional Performing Arts program is designed to immerse students in real-world performance settings, ensuring they graduate with the confidence and skills to excel in the commercial, stage, and screen industries.

Throughout their training, students perform in eight full-scale productions per year, working with leading choreographers and directors to refine their artistry and stage presence. These productions replicate professional industry environments, preparing students for the fast-paced demands of live performance, theatre, and commercial dance.

In addition to stage work, students train in on-camera performance, equipping them with the skills needed for TV, film, and music videos. They also participate in exclusive masterclasses with internationally acclaimed industry leaders, gaining valuable insights into current trends and professional expectations.

Students further enhance their career readiness through audition training, industry networking, and external performance opportunities, allowing them to build real-world experience and industry connections before graduation. Each student also develops a professional portfolio, including audition reels, headshots, and career materials, ensuring they are fully equipped to step directly into the industry.
