This two-year, full-time program integrates technical mastery, artistic innovation, and industry immersion, preparing graduates for careers in leading contemporary dance companies, international festivals, and interdisciplinary creative collaborations. In addition to performance training, students develop strong choreographic skills, fostering their artistic voices and preparing them for careers as creators and movement directors.

Advanced Contemporary Technique – Mastering floorwork, partnering, and expanding movement vocabulary.
Choreography & Improvisation – Developing an artistic voice through composition, movement research, and storytelling.
Classical Ballet Foundations – Enhancing control, technique, and adaptability for contemporary movement.
Performance & Production – Engaging in four staged productions annually to simulate professional company work.
Industry & Career Preparation – Participating in mock auditions, networking, and industry placements.

Entry to this course is by Application, Audition and Interview. Auditions take place every two months and consist of technique, choreography and interview components, conducted by Transit Dance directors and core faculty. Video Auditions and Trial Classes are also available on a case by case basis.

In addition to performance opportunities, students develop skills in choreography, composition, and movement direction, preparing them for artistic leadership roles within professional companies, independent projects, and commercial collaborations. Industry secondments and internships further expose students to career pathways beyond the stage, equipping them with the tools to step confidently into the professional world as both performers and creators.
