CASEY DAVIS
Course Coordinator (High School Academy)
Casey Davis is a passionate performer, choreographer, and educator dedicated to shaping the next generation of young artists. Originally from rural Queensland, she pursued her love of the arts at CQUniversity Conservatorium, earning a Bachelor of Theatre (Musical Theatre). During her studies, she trained under Australia’s leading choreographers and directors, choreographed and performed as a support act for Timomatic’s QLD Tour, and taught performing arts across the state.
Relocating to Melbourne, Casey expanded her expertise by completing a Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) and a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching & Management. She performed in productions such as StageArt’s Saturday Night Fever and Witches and Britches Theatre Restaurant, showcasing her versatility as both a dancer and musician.
With a deep passion for arts education, Casey went on to complete a Master of Teaching at La Trobe University, specialising in Dance and Drama. A registered teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching, she also holds a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and has choreographed productions for institutions such as Wesley College and Marist College.
As the High School Academy Coordinator at Transit Dance, Casey brings together her extensive performance background and educational expertise. She is committed to fostering creativity, resilience, and confidence in young performers, guiding them as they develop their artistry and prepare for future careers in the performing arts.
