Student Services & Operations Coordinator
With a background spanning dance, education, and athlete support, Steph Mifsud plays a vital role in ensuring students at Transit Dance receive elite training and comprehensive support. Originally from Mount Gambier, South Australia, she trained at MJ Dance Studio before advancing her studies at Ev & Bow in Sydney under Sarah Boulter and Lisa Bowmer. During this time, she gained valuable industry experience performing at Bangarra Dance Theatre, Sydney Opera House, and the Playhouse Theatre at NIDA.
Driven by a passion for contemporary dance and professional performance, Steph relocated to Melbourne to join the inaugural cohort of Transit Dance’s Pre-Professional Contemporary program, completing her Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance). Training under Australia’s top choreographers, she refined her technical expertise, artistic versatility, and industry knowledge. Expanding her skills beyond dance, she pursued qualifications in Remedial Massage Therapy, working with AFLW Carlton Football Club and AFL GWS Giants in athlete performance and injury prevention.
Now serving as Student Services & Operations Coordinator, Steph oversees VET coordination, student wellbeing, and production management, ensuring students receive personalised guidance and a seamless learning experience. With over a decade of experience in dance education, student mentorship, and event coordination, she is committed to fostering a supportive and career-focused training environment at Transit Dance.
