Transit Creative Project (Spring Intensive)

Transit Creative Project returns to Metro Melbourne for the Spring Intensive!

Now in its fourth year, the Transit Creative Project is one of Australia’s leading holiday intensives for dancers aged 12 – 25 who have an interest in furthering their creative ability.

Each project takes place over four days at Transit Dance Brunswick, with participants working with renowned Australian choreographers in a series of intensive workshops to create an original 20-minute work. These works are then presented onstage as part of a double bill with the Transit Pre Professional students at the conclusion of the week.

This spring dancers can participate in either a Performing Arts (Jazz) Creative Project choreographed by Kim Adam , or a Contemporary Creative Project choreographed by Paul Malek.

This unique and rewarding experience provides participants with insight into the creative process whilst fostering a sense of community and belonging.
