Each project takes place over four days at Transit Dance Brunswick, with participants working with renowned Australian choreographers in a series of intensive workshops to create an original 20-minute work. These works are then presented onstage as part of a double bill with the Transit Pre Professional students at the conclusion of the week.
This year dancers can participate in a Performing Arts (Jazz) Creative Project choreographed by Kim Adam (18-21 Jan), and/or a Contemporary Creative Project choreographed by Paul Malek & Bradley Chatfield (24-28 Jan). Students can enrol in one, or both projects!
This unique and rewarding experience provides participants with insight into the creative process whilst fostering a sense of community and belonging.
Celebrating our first season live performance season in over twelve months, MIDPOINT sees our Contemporary Diploma and Graduate students perform in three new works by Damian Meredith, Ashley McClellan and Malika Berney.
